  • How to Become a Member

    DC Writers Room reserves its memberships for established authors, emerging writers and those who demonstrate serious intent.

    To join:

    1. Schedule a tour. To schedule a tour, email us at info@dcwritersroom.com. 

    2. Complete the application, which will be provided to you at the tour.

    3. Choose your membership type.

    Applications are processed within 24-48 hours. Upon approval, your access to the studio will begin immediately.

Our Memberships.

  • Full Membership

    Write on your schedule with access to the studio 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The fee for full membership is $160 per month.

  • Weekend Membership

    Access the studio all day Saturday and Sunday. The fee for weekend membership is $95 per month.

  • Drop-in Membership

    Need an occasional place to work? Contact us to get access for the day, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.--all for $20.

  • Manuscript Evaluation and Studio Access

    Devote a year to your manuscript, with the guidance of a published author and without the commitment of workshops. Learn more about Draft: Your Novel Year.

  • Give the gift of membership
